Cause of problem: This is caused by the handles on the software not closing as they should.

Fix: Uninstall McAfee from your computer and shut it down then reboot it and reinstall McAfee. Then your error should go away.

Object will not delete from the recycle bin.

Issue: Object in the recycle bin will not delete.

Cause of problem: The file may be corrupted or another program may be using the file if you know the program is not using the file then please follow the solution given.

Solution: Make sure you want all of the items in the recycle bin deleted. Then go to your desktop and right click on the recycle bin and select empty recycle bin and the file should go away.

ccapp.exe stalls system operations at shutdown

Problem: ccapp stalls the system operations at shutdown causing shutdown to stall or even be terminated sometimes.

Knowledge of Issue: ccapp.exe is a running process of Norton Antivirus and it is the autoprotect feature of Norton Antivirus. It may sometimes stall shutdown for a minute or even longer. This issue is mainly caused by the software being unable to scan what it is trying to scan through.

Fix: Open the Norton Antivirus control panel by clicking on the yellow globe with black lines in your task bar then click options then click advanced and disable scanning of floppy drives and removable media devices at shutdown.

Word claims to not be available when composing an email message

Issue: Outlook 2003 stalls when you select new message then it gives you an error message saying, that word may not be used as the email editor.

Knowledge of Issue: An email could of corrupted the file that holds the value in the windows registry.

Solution: To fix this issue follow the steps listed below.

Note: Several fixes are listed below for you to try if one don't work try the next if you are still having issues please contact us.

Solution one

1.Select options

2.Select format

3.Make sure the box that is checked says use Microsoft Word 2003 to edit email messages

4. If not change it to say Use Microsoft Word 2003 to edit email messages

5. Click apply

Solution two

1. Select the Help menu

2. Select detect and repair

3. Follow the directions listed

Solution three

1.Select the start menu

2.Select Run

3. Type this in the box Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll

4. Click run

Proceed to step 5 if step 4 did not solve your issue.

5. Redo steps 1-4 included in solution 3 just this time put this code in where it wants the run command Msiexec.exe /fm {GUID}

Solution four

1.  Completely uninstall Microsoft Office

2. Reinstall Microsoft Office

File claims extra contents are attached and will be deleted if moved

Issue: When copying picture files to a Cd-Rom/Folder you may receive the following message.

"file has extra info attached and that may be lost"

Solution:
1.Right Click
2.Copy
3.Open Paint
4.Paste the photo in and save it as a Jpg when it comes time to save this should work. Please let us know if this works so we can add this to our website.
